About Me
Welcome to MyPetiverse!
Hi, I'm Hannah, the founder of MyPetiverse, an animal lover with a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. My passion for animals has always been a huge part of my life, both professionally and personally.
At home, I share my world with a little menagerie of my own: a tropical fish tank featuring Rio, my Koi fighter fish, two guinea pigs called Barley and Rye, and my two dogs, Bear and Rosie. Each has their own personality, preferences and little quirks, reminding me every day that no two pets are quite the same!
Having pets of different species made me realise how difficult it could be to find exciting gift boxes that catered for all of them. I didn't want to subscribe to multiple different boxes just to treat each of my animals, and I knew other pet owners might feel the same.
That's where MyPetiverse was born!
I created MyPetiverse to make treating your pets easier, more exciting and more accessible, whatever animal you share your life with. From curious cats and playful pups to small furries, fish and beyond, I want to make discovering new treats, toys and surprises simple and enjoyable.
With my background in animal behaviour and welfare, I believe every pet deserves to be celebrated, understood and treated with care. My aim is to bring a little excitement to pets and their people, with mystery boxes designed to make every delivery feel special.
Whether you're shopping for one beloved companion or a whole household of different species, welcome to MyPetiverse – where every pet has a place!
EVERY PET, EVERY PERSONALITY...because they're our universe
How we do it
Handmade, every single time
We hunt for the good stuff
Hannah and the team spend hours sourcing from independent makers/trusted wholesalers, testing products on our own pets, and only keeping the things that pass the sniff test — literally.
We curate for your pet
Every box is tailored to the pet type you choose. A chinchilla box looks nothing like a dog box — we think about size, safety, and what actually makes that species happy.
We pack it with care
Each box is hand-packed with tissue paper, ribbon, and a personal touch. We read every note you leave us — allergies, ages, preferences — and pack accordingly.
We send it with love
Your box goes out wrapped and ready to delight. Whether it's a treat for yourself or a gift for a fellow pet lover, we want the unboxing to feel like a little adventure.
What we believe in
More than just a box
All pets welcome
Dogs and cats are wonderful, but so are rats, reptiles, and everything in between. We celebrate every creature.
Small makers matter
We prioritise independent UK suppliers and small businesses — the same kind of people we are.
Giving back
Our Charity Mystery Box goes out directly to a randomised animal welfare and rescue charity...because pets everywhere deserve care! We will let you know where your box has gone!
Honest & transparent
No filler, no fluff. If something isn't right for your pet, we want to know — and we'll always make it right.
